About me:

I am Andrzej Schultz, a legal researcher interested in comparative and EU constitutional law. I have graduated from the University of Warsaw and holds an LL.M. in European Union Law and Litigation from the University of Luxembourg. My affiliation is with the European University Institute as a PhD candidate, funded by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR).
My current research focuses on the authority of national courts in times of constitutional crisis. It seeks to determine how domestic courts can mobilise EU law to safeguard institutional autonomy of the judiciary and uphold judicial independence.
I blog about restoring the rule of law in Poland. The blog includes a report on the changes taking place and my thoughts.
